The year is quickly coming to a close, and with the holiday season nearing, it can become very easy to let yourself “ride out” the remainder of the year without moving forward or making a plan for your business. So, in order to help you avoid the end-of-year stagnation, I have put together Three Tips to Ensuring a Profitable and Productive Fourth Quarter.
1. Get Clarity.
I cannot overstate the importance of clarity in life and business. You have to get super clear on what your ideal life and business look like in order to achieve your ideal life and business. Makes sense, right? I know (from personal experience) that a lot can change over the course of a year, so your life and business may look totally different now than it did at the beginning of the year. It’s important to take some time to get massive clarity on what you want and need for your life and business in the coming months. A great place to start is the Profit-Preneur™ Quiz. You will find out exactly how you work best according to your personality, along with gaining insight into things like your ideal partnerships, your potential profit pitfalls, and more!
2. Make a Strategic Plan.
Once you’ve gotten clarity, it’s time to make a plan of action. You know what results you desire, now make a strategic plan to get there. Look at where you are now in life and business, then look at where you would like to be, and strategically plan out action points that will ensure the end result you desire. This plan should include plans for the first quarter of 2018 as well. Creating a profitable plan can be intimidating, but I am happy to help! Feel free to schedule a complimentary strategy session with me to get the ball rolling!
3. My Favorite F-Word… FOCUS
You’ve achieved massive clarity in your ideal life and business, you’ve got your strategic plan laid out, now it’s time to dig in and really focus on the task at hand. Don’t let yourself become overwhelmed or burnt out. Take your strategic plan one step at a time, and conquer that step with an unrelenting focus like never before. Then move to the next step and so on. Taking breaks to recharge your energy when needed, but never losing that focus or momentum. One of the best ways I have found to ensure I remain focused is to find an accountability partner to ensure I stay on track. I would recommend joining the Profit-ology Business Incubator if you’re looking for an accountability system. Our awesome tribe of Profit-Preneurs is eager to help you maintain focus throughout the hectic holiday season.
Using these three tips, I have ensured a productive and profitable fourth quarter and New Year for myself and my clients. I hope you are able to put these tips into action in your business so that you can send out 2017 with a bang and welcome new profits in 2018!
