Are You 10 Steps Ahead of the Industry... But Your Business Doesn’t Show It Yet?
In 2004, I wrote a book proposal called The Conscious Entrepreneur.
It was centered around what, at the time, felt like a radical idea: blending purpose, spirituality, and business. I knew the traditional, hustle-heavy, profit-at-all-costs approach was on its way out—and that a new, more conscious model was rising. I could see it clearly. I could feel it in my bones.
I pitched that proposal to 79 PR reps, publishing houses, and literary agents.
Every single one of them said no.
They didn’t just pass—they told me it was irrelevant. That there was no audience for it. That “purpose” wasn’t a selling point, and “spirituality” didn’t belong in business.
But here’s what they couldn’t see: I wasn’t guessing. I was witnessing a market shift that hadn’t yet surfaced. I was tracking an energetic current that would soon become the foundation of a global movement.
Today, conscious business is everywhere. Spiritual entrepreneurs are leading entire industries. Purpose is the new luxury.
I wasn’t wrong. I wasn’t off-track.
I was just ahead.
And if you’re here, reading this, there’s a very real chance you are, too.
What Does It Really Mean to Be a Visionary or a Futurist?
Let’s ground this in truth:
A visionary is someone who sees what’s possible before the world is ready for it.
You don’t follow trends—you create them. You’re not interested in short-term wins. You’re here to lead real, meaningful change. Your ideas challenge outdated systems, stretch people’s thinking, and require a level of courage most don’t understand.
A futurist goes a step further.
Futurists don’t just dream. They discern. They sense what’s coming, track patterns, anticipate disruptions, and intuitively build for the future. It’s not always logical. But it’s always accurate—eventually.
I know this because I am one.
As an extremely intuitive futurist, I understand this struggle firsthand.
I know what it’s like to launch offers that feel revolutionary—but fall flat because the market isn’t ready. I know how frustrating it is to hold a vision so clear and powerful, and watch others catch on years later… after you've already moved on to the next evolution.
But here’s the truth: for the clients I work with who get this—who understand the power of operating from the future—the payoff is exponential.
When your business is built with visionary intelligence, you can shave years (even decades) off your growth trajectory. You avoid expensive pitfalls before they happen. You design from alignment, not urgency. And you step into true category leadership—not just in your industry, but in your movement.
To them, this work is a high profit godsend.
Five Signs You Might Be a Visionary (or a Futurist in Disguise)
1. You See Problems in the Market Before They Exist
While others are still reacting to today’s issues, you’re already tracking what’s about to shift. You don’t just spot trends—you sense disruptions before they form. You know what’s coming, and you’re already creating solutions for it.
2. You Create Offers That Feel Too Advanced for the Market
You’ve launched products or programs that were deeply aligned, brilliantly designed… and completely misunderstood. Not because they weren’t valuable, but because your audience wasn’t ready. You were solving for a problem no one realized they had—yet.
3. You Struggle With Marketing and Sales—Because You’re Selling Prevention, Not Pain
Your work is designed to prevent burnout, misalignment, or collapse—before it happens. But most people are conditioned to only invest when the pain is unbearable. Marketing preventative transformation requires a whole new approach, one that elevates the client’s thinking instead of playing into urgency or fear.
4. Traditional Business Advice Doesn’t Work For You
You’ve tried the funnels. The formulas. The so-called "proven" strategies. And they never felt right—because they weren’t made for someone building the future. You’re not here to follow what’s already been done. You’re here to design the next evolution. Your business needs to be built accordingly.
5. You’ve Been Told You’re Too Much, Too Woo, or Too Far Ahead
Whether it’s your message, your method, or your model—someone, somewhere has tried to tone you down. Visionaries trigger resistance because they reveal what’s not working. And the truth is, if no one’s questioned your approach… you may still be playing small.
So What Now?
If you’re reading this and realizing this is me—here’s what I want you to hear:
You’re not too much.
You’re not too far ahead.
And you’re certainly not doing it wrong.
You’re just building a business that’s meant to lead—not follow.
But if your current results aren’t reflecting your brilliance, it’s not because you’re broken. It’s because you’ve been trying to retrofit your vision into a system that wasn’t built for it.
That’s exactly why I do the work I do. I help visionary, future-forward entrepreneurs like you design elegant, aligned business ecosystems that position you as the leader you already are—and create results that finally reflect your true genius.
Because your work isn’t just relevant. It’s essential.
And the world is finally catching up.
Tell Me:
Have you ever been told your ideas were too early or too much? Are you offering something transformative—but struggling to translate it into sales, visibility, or traction?
Which of these signs resonated with you the most?
Let’s continue the conversation—because if you’re building the future, you don’t need validation. You need the right strategy, the right positioning, and the right support to bring it to life.
